• Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Mac OS 9.1-10 or later (OS-X) operating systems
• Your PC must be at least a Pentium 300 or better
• You must have at least 64MB of RAM memory
• You must have TWICE the hard drive space free as the size of the MPEG you are downloading.
• You must be using DSL, CABLE MODEM, T1, T4 or ADSL internet connections

ACCESSING THE DOWNLOAD SITE

Access Information Notification:
The necessary information (URL, username and password) is sent by e-mail to the e-mail address which you supplied on the purchase form. You should receive the access information within 1 hour of placing your order. If you made an error in entering your e-mail address you obviously will not receive the access information. If your ISP has an "overactive" spam blocker, you may need to add our address to your safe mail list so our e-mail notices are not blocked by your ISP's spam blocker. If you have Verizon, it is not likely that anything will help.

Getting to the Access Site:
The access notification e-mail contains a link to the site. With most browsers and operating systems, all that you need to do is click the link. Please note that in some cases the URL in the access notice is "truncated" by your browser. In that case the entire URL does not appear as a link and you will get a "404 Error - Page Not Found". Please examine the link in the access e-mail. It may be necessary for you to type in some of it in the URL Address line of your browser.

Username and Password: CASE SENSITIVE
Improper use of case is the most common cause of failure to be able to access the download site. These will normally be a combination of alphabetic and numeric characters. On some browsers the lower case "l" as in lime may be confused with the number 1. Best way to avoid this is to copy the username and paste it into the required place on the access html screen. Be careful that you do not copy leading or trailing blank spaces - that becomes a different username or password.

CASE SENSITIVE!
Some of the alpha characters will appear in CAPS. These must then be entered as CAPS or you will not be given access. Likewise, if the alpha characters appear as lower case they must be typed in lower case NOT CAPS. Please see Username/Password/Access Issues on the main help page

Download the whole video if possible. This avoids having to join the smaller files later and reduces the risk of corrupt downloads.

Recommended Browser: Mozilla Firefox - Hands down, the best browser out there. Internet Explorer is also satisfactory.

Downloading From Firefox:
RIGHT click on the link and choose "Save Link As" from the dropdown menu. Firefox will save the file to your desktop by default. When you click OK the download will proceed.

Downloading from Internet Explorer:
RIGHT click on the link and choose "Save Target As" from the dropdown menu. Note the location where the file is being downloaded. When you click OK the download will proceed.

Joining and Playing MPEG files:
We usually provide two options for downloads - the full size complete clip and smaller segments (for the bandwidth impaired). If you download the smaller segments and wish to combine them into the one full-size file after download, we recommend the Easy Joiner program.
